Dan Glickman and Catherine Bertini, cochairs of The Chicago Council on Global Affairs' Global Agricultural Development Initiative, will testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on April 22, 2010, at a hearing entitled, "Promoting Global Food Security: Next Steps for Congress and the Administration." The hearing marks the second time Mr. Glickman and Ms. Bertini have testified before Congress on U.S. global food security policy.
At the hearing, Mr. Glickman and Ms. Bertini will be joined by Jacob Lew, Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources at the U.S. Department of State, and Rajiv J. Shah, Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
